Http tunnel for Plex Media server works on Web but not App

I setup up an HTTP tunnel for remote use of Plex because I have a CGNAT ISP and cannot forward ports. I put that URL in the server settings of Plex (custom access URLs). The URL generated works in a browser and I can access everything fine. However in the Plex app it doesn't find my server. Any ideas? One thought I have is sometimes in the browser when using the tunnel URL I get a message that I am being redirected from localtonet to another address and have to accept and that could be holding up the app.

Yes, that’s exactly the issue. In the free version, an intermediate page appears during redirection. The Plex web app can handle it if you manually accept, but the native Plex apps can’t get past that screen.

If you add balance/credits to your account, that redirect page will disappear, and Plex will be able to connect through the tunnel without any problems.

Okay. Thanks. I thought it could also be a certificate issue.
