Trying to keep a few self-hosted things organized now so I don't end up with a confusing pile of tunnels later.

Trying to keep host-based routing tidy, add light auth where needed, and avoid exposing more than I meant to.

Trying to lock down a home hosted server before I leave the tunnel up all the time for a small friend group.

Pointed the tunnel at one reverse proxy port and let subdomains route everything else, way simpler than one tunnel per app.

Small private server, only care about the join experience and day to day setup, not uptime.

I can join locally, but I'm stuck on which tunnel type to pick and what port to enter for a basic first setup.

Need to know if LocaltoNet can leave TLS untouched for a local HTTPS app, or if it always unwraps HTTPS and forwards HTTP to localhost.

Trying to confirm if one LocaltoNet HTTP tunnel can front multiple subdomains through a local reverse proxy, or if reserved domains only match the exact host.

Need a practical checklist before exposing a local file service to a few external users.

App works on localhost already, just trying to figure out if LocaltoNet handles public access by itself or if I still need router/firewall setup.
